On Thursday, December 4, 2014, the public lecture with the title “Modern Trends in Food Security” which occurred within the Senate hall of the University of Academy of Science of Moldova. The lecture was held by Mrs. Adriana Bîrcă, professor, PhD doctor, prorector for research at the University ”George Baritiu”, Brasov, Romania.
As part of this event, the current issues related to the formation and evolution of concept of food security, EU policies on developing this field and labeling of food produce according to the regulations of EU.
The event was attended by the staff of the University of Academy of Science of Moldova, students, master’s degree students and PhD students.
