Admission to cycle II, Master’s programs is done in accordance with Regulations on the organization of Master’s studies, cycle II, approved by Government Decision no. 1455 of 24.12.2007 and internal regulations.
The following applicant categories may be admitted to Master’s programs:
Admission to Master’s programs is done on a competitive basis. Registering for the admission competition to Master’s programs is done as follows:
Registration to the admission competition is done for one program only.br /> The admission competition to Master’s programs involves the following:
Language and computer aptitude may be recognized on the basis of international certificates issued by authorized centers (TOEFL, DALF, Europass, DAAF, ECDL, etc.).
The methodology of admission competition average mark calculation is set by internal admissions regulations.
Admission to tuition-based places is done according to the same criteria as admission to budget financed places. Candidates that have already received a state budget financed Master’s program may only enroll in tuition-based Master’s programs.
Upon written request of the applicant (indicated in the admission competition application form), enrollment to tuition-based places is done (in descending order of the admission competition average mark), including applicants to budget financed places that passed the admission tests but have been accepted to budget financed places as the last candidate listed.
Enrollment to Master’s programs is done according to the enrollment plan in descending order of the candidates’ admission competition average mark. The validation of admission results to Master’s programs and enrollment of candidates who have passed the competition is done by the order of the rector of the institution.
Contestations shall be submitted in writing to the Admissions Committee no later than 24 hours from the announcement/displaying of the results, and complaints are resolved within 48 hours from submission of request.
The overall average competition mark is calculated using the following formula:
MC = 0,6MAS + 0.4N
MC – overall average competition mark;
MAS – average mark for years of study at the previous stage (Bachelor’s degree);
NE – mark on specialty test
The evaluation of foreign language aptitude and computer skills tests is done on pass/fail basis. Candidates who have failed any test will be removed from the competition.
